Spectrum of services

When an airport is privatized, a great many different interests have to be taken into consideration. These include the legal and regulatory framework, the scope for regional development, and the growing requirements of airlines, concession-holders and passengers. HTA's objective always is to devise – in close cooperation with local partners – a tailor-made solution that meets the demands of public-sector shareholders and private investors alike.

HTA has wide-ranging experience in its chosen sector. Through its involvement in six successful airport privatizations of different sizes and structures in Germany, Greece, Australia, Hungary and Albania, the company has accumulated a wealth of know-how and demonstrated its expertise. Starting out from the long years of project experience in airport construction acquired by its parent company, HOCHTIEF, HTA has continuously extended its competence in the airport sector. Today, it specializes in airport management and the management of its own shareholdings, handles privatizations, acts as advisor to airports and the investors in the HTAC investment partnership, and participates in bidding procedures. Drawing on its experience with its own network of airports, HTA addresses all the demands of each project, with its specific political, regional, social and environmental requirements.

In airport privatizations around the world, HOCHTIEF AirPort acts as investor, strategic manager and concession-holder. From the bidding procedure and the acquisition of concessions or shareholdings through the restructuring, financing and the long-term development of airports, the HTA range of services covers the entire field of airport privatizations. As industrial partner and expert consultant, HTA places its know-how at the disposal of investment and consortium partners.
